I'm a lurker, but figured I may as well come out.

I just read the article in Ourdoor Life, Sept 2006 issue. Needless to say, I'm outraged, especially about the comments of "WHA ladies" and his intent of how this is going to bring more women into hunting. As a woman who hunts, who this fall is going to be introducing another woman to hunting, I find this pathetic.

So after some digging, here is WHA's myspace profile:
http://www.myspace.com/worldhunt

You can click to see all comments and find their "supporters" Whitetailopoly is in there, and I'm sad to say I have to find something else to get my boyfriend for Christmas, as I was excited to get the game, but now won't.

My opinion....

While I disagree on EVERY level with the WHA.....I still have strong feelings regarding hunters uniting behind hunters. We ARE.....one community.

Problem for the WHA is.........what they propose is NOT hunting.

No conflict, for me.....

I agree , I just went threw the hunting regulations for 2006 in case I missed something . In Ontario nothing has changed ,you still must use a head with with at least 2 cutting edges. If its not in the regs its not hunting

I am not saying that I agree with what WHA is doing having a professional hunting tour, but I am glad to see that they have changed it up a bit. They are no longer using tranquilizer darts. They are now using a traditional format. It's almost not any different then all of the TV shows on the Outdoor Channel except it's a tournament. (Professionals going to a top hunting location bagging deer)

Everyone can join my Org. for free, as long as you love to hunt.
I am starting my own P.E. T. A. Group.

Booker81, you take the woman out to hunt, and show her the freedom and joy of the outdoors that somtimes we take for granted. Good luck on your hunt and be safe.
I think the wife and I are going to Kansas for a mule deer, then to a friends place in N.M. for a Speed goat. That will put us back home here in AR. just in time for deer and hog. Who said a womwn can't hunt? Check out the Attachment.
This wasthe woman'sfirst hunt, and her first animal. This woman has been back to Africa 11 times, and has taken 3 of the Big 6.

I just wrote them an email letting them know how I feel. I'll be talking with every one of their sponsors I see at the upcoming shows as well letting them know that I will never support them if they support the WHA.......
