Good suggestions, Jerry/NJ! I'm on it. Anyone else?
The WHA promo said it will be televised on computer and on TV. Do you know which channel has said they will carry it? They need a flurry of e-mails too.

Thanks for your work.
This may be a Pay Per View program as that is one thing I want to know as well.

Kudos to Bass Pro !

Bass Pro Shops® News Releases
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ANNOUNCEMENT: Bass Pro Shops' Stance on WHA
June 15, 2006
To our customers, vendors, and conservation partners;
We have received many e-mails and phone calls regarding the World Hunting Association. Be assured that we will not be involved with the WHA in any way and will encourage our vendors and partners to do the same.
We do not support drugging of these magnificent game animals nor do we support making hunting a professional tournament.
At Bass Pro Shops we believe in the traditional methods of hunting and passing on the heritage of this great sport to future generations.
Sincerely,
Bass Pro Shops

Add Cabelas officially now as this was an email sent to a friend of mine:

Dear David:

Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding the World Hunting
Association.

Cabela's was approached for sponsorship of the W.H.A. and we declined tobe involved. Furthermore, consistent with the conservation groups and
industry associations Cabela's is affiliated with, we do not support the
W.H.A. We are also working with our partners and suppliers to influence
their stance as to this issue.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to do so.
Cabela's always works to uphold the values of our customers, for they
are our values as well. We appreciate your patronage.

Sincerely,
Cabela's, Inc.

All this controversy has gotten me excited.

Am I the first who fully supports this mission?

Good to hear Cabelas and Bass Pro are in line, that is great news considering thier influence and size. And thanks for the good question, Jones 123! I do believe it will be pay-per-view, need to double check that though. Email Cabelas and Bass Pro and let them know we all support thier decision. Keep the suggestions coming.

Hi newtowha! Are you this first one to support which mission?...the WHA's or hunter's/sportsman against the WHA? If you support the WHA, yes, you are the first one to have posted that does support the WHA.If this is your stance, we welcome it and look forward to helping you understand the extremely large majority of the hunting population.

hey guys, a couple comments, questions i have for you all!
1. EDITED - no personal attacks please
2. how would our grandfathers, and great grandfathers feel about this whole thing. im only 17, but i was raised to respect everything in nature, and be as ethical as you can possibly be, hunting is an honor and privilliage, and in my opinion if this whole thing gets started, that privilage might be taken away!
3. how is uncle ted allowing this to possibly start in his home state.
4. again, how do they expect no animal fatalities, with an arrow shot out of a bow at more than 300fps.
5. who are these, "hunters" that will participate in this game show.?They are not hunters if they are involved in this in anyway!

Thanks,
Kyle Peterson

He's probably out filming that new show on VH1 --"old fart rockers" or whatever it is. Ted's the man though (but we don't have to get into THAT now)

I like the way you think fowlplay.

hopefully anyone that would still have something to do with this EXPOSED BS!! will have a very Short remainder of their pathetic career.
