RE: What's the most UNDERUTILIZED piece of archery equipment?
ORIGINAL: Greg / MO I may have to agree with you, because I hardly ever use maps. (Of course, I've pretty much been hunting the same piece of ground for the last several years...) Got's to agree, been hunting the same property since practically birth. I've often looked at topos, aerial photos etc of this property and it always comes down to exactlye where my stands are set anyway...now other properies I often feel I really should get into mapping them.... |

RE: What's the most UNDERUTILIZED piece of archery equipment?
I'd have to agree on maps/photos as well. I've been hunting the same fairly small piece of ground for awhile, and tend to really scour the place after season ends, but aerial photos do come in handy.
Bow hangers, shooting form, pruners, background cover... |

Tuperware! I always make a sandwitch and put it in a ziplock bag, stuff it in my pack and off I go. 3 hrs later a light goes off, ah thats right i have a snack. Open up my pack and I have a smashed sandwitch.

RE: What's the most UNDERUTILIZED piece of archery equipment?
I don't think this qualifies as our brains, but let me know if it does:
Our instincts. Too often we, myself included, find ourselves in a tough situation and the first thing we do is pull out some new fangled piece of equipment to solve the problem, instead of doing what our ancestors did...trust their insticts. They didn't rely on other equipment to get the job done, they trusted what their feelings told them to do....and did it. |
