help with bow

is your nocking point suposed to be in the center of the string between the axles? because mine is like 1 inch off.

Are you sure about that 1 inch? Mathews recomends starting at 1/8th high of center for a starting point when tuning. I've also met some techs who start as much as 3/4" high with some rests (not that I thought it was right.)

It might depend upon what bow / setup you have. But 1" sounds way too high to me.

RE: help with bow

Have you paper tuned your bow, and if so, is it shooting perfect bullet holes? If you answered "yes" to both of those questions, you've nothing to worry about. If the answer is no, head to the shop and do some paper tuning. You may find you need to raise or lower your nock point.
