I have shot alot of the top end bows, and they all feel very nice to me. Switchback/Trykon/Allegience. I have a blowtech Liberty VFT and think its about the smoothest bow around. Not too short, brace height not too long, decent performance (260fps 500gr arrow).

Any of the top end bows these days are a joy to shoot.

700-800 for the bow

For that kind of money you could buy an 06 Allegiance and basically have the best bow made this year. Nothing wrong with the Reflex but when you try an Ally you will be pulling out your wallet.

You wont need anymore than 60lb to take any animal in Nth America.

I would opt for the Allegiance with the money you have to spend, quite extremely fast and very shootable;)
