getting them started
 

i was wondering what you all have done to intorduce your partners into archery or hunting in genearal. my wife has said sure i would like to go and shoot but dosnt really seem like she is that interested any hints would be great.

Do you do any kind of small game hunting? I ask because that would be a great appetizer leading up to bigger hunts. Take her squirrel hunting or something that you know will be action packed. Then, gradually work her up to bow hunting, deer hunting, etc.

I know that some people expect to see something everytime they go into the woods. It just doesn't work that way all the time.

Mine watched me shoot my bow all the time and thought it looked cool...from there it graduated into hunting. Same with rifles..she started shooting them at the range with me and got hooked.

Nothing. Can't be done. She wants ABSOLUTELY nothing to do w/ it. In fact, she won't even let me talk to her about anymore, well, I can some, but not much. I ask her opinion when I build my arrows and such, and she likes that, but no way she'll ever shoot.

Mine will not carry a bow, but will carrya gun so I accept it. I got into bowhunting because gun hunting got boaring. She may turn over time.She will go out and video me though.
