hoyt\reflex\pse\pearson\new archer.
The last bow I owned and the last time I shot. I owned a PSE Phazer 2 and shot it in 89. I got very good at it then pops lost the heart to kill bambi. I promptly quit. I am not getting back into it as an adult. I have not shot since 89. I was looking at packages etc as there are a million choices. Any suggestions welcome even if I get blasted for asking an old question point me to the facts. From my research I have determined I want medium to long ata, 7 1/2+ brace height, 28 1/2 draw length, 70# pull, single cam, split or not doesn't matter, 240-300fps ibo. I was looking at this pearson 440 quad kit for 327.00 oh yeah not sure if it matters but I am a lefty. Though when I shot in 89 I was a righty. Left eye dominant so I shoot better left handed. I do not want to spend 800.00 for a sport I am just starting out and that is what all the proshops are telling me here in northern VA. HElp the newbie get into your sport.

Shoot them all and decide for yourself. Every bow doesn't fit or suite every other person. This is why the industry is so diverse and all selling plenty of bows. There are no bad bows per se but some better than others and they all fit us differently. Shoot as many as you can and decide which one bets suites your needs and wants. Just because I shoot Hoyt doesn't make it right for you. Good luck and welcome back.

Only problem with the good advice is here in VA. No one lets you try a bow. Makes trying them rather difficult. I do appreciate the advice however another thing you cannot try an online bow at all. Also the pro shops here do not allow you to try them unless they are setting it up for you and by then it is too late.
