No bashing here...I previously had a 91 GMC Sierra and it was good to me. Unfortunately she was getting up in miles and was time to get a new truck. Based on what I liked...I found the new Chev, Dodge & Nissan didn't hold a candle to the Tacoma, so guess what I bought?

Not trying to argue. I'm just getting the facts out. There is an incredible about of false information concerning American car companies being spewed about on this forum. I feel a duty to defend the American auto industry from false attack because that's what feeds my children.

I myself wish that we would all buy as much AMERICAN made products as possible. I am tired of my hunting stuff being made in China and all of the American jobs being farmed out to other countries. I guess the thread drifted a little from the original postbut that is what makes these forums great; controversy and freedom of expression and views.

They (oil companies. Exxon, Mobil, BR, etc.) try to tell us that more people are driving more cars than 10 years ago? Total BS!
Then they try to BS you by saying people are driving their cars more now than 10 years ago, again a bunch of horseskip.
