You want a good way to practice judging distance, Get some judo points and go stump shooting in the woods, Just walk into the woods and pick a dead ole rotten stump at any distance and shoot at it. Of course you will have to Guess how far away it is, but it will help alot, its how I used practice for 3-D, and hunting.It works.

im tired of judging distance and shooting over deer with a bow.... im gonna get me a ranger find soon

i agree with recurve hunting stumps is great practice and to add a littel spice take a buddy and bet $0.25 a shot. puts some pressure in the mix

Try putting ribbons on trees to mark yardage.
