VA - they just announced yesterday that the lic. will go up by $5. I bought a lifetime lic. to hunt last year, but I still have to buy Archery, Big Game, Black Powder, Fishing and Trout, (plus National Forest stamp). Currently Resident lic. is $12.50 for each of the above (except National Forest stamp). Sure wish we had a sportsmans lic. like GA that covers everything for one price.

Mostly military installations in GA...60 bucks for a sportsman’s license in GA...Not a lot of public land to be hunted within 100 miles of my duty station Robins AFB, the little there is is very pressured.

I hunt in the great lake state of Michigan.

Haven't had the chance to travel & hunt outside the state.
We pay a 4.00 fee & then 14.00 when we get our permits

I have lived in North Carolina for 13 years. Prior to that I lived in Upstate New York (whereI grew up). In NC I hunt on land (1700 acres) that is owned by the company I work for. It is strictly bowhunting. The cost of a Sportsman's License is $40.00. I spend two weeks each Fall in Steuben County New York where my best friend owns 400 acres (with 20 acres of corn, 30 acres of oatsundersown withalfalfa, and lots of apple trees). A non-resident bowhunting license costs $110.00 in New York. If I had half a brain, I would have bought a lifetime Sportman's License when I was a NY resident for $500.00...and stock in Googleat the IPO(Oh well!)
