OMG, I am going to examine my Beman ICS Hunter 340's when I get home!!! (especially my main practice arrow with the rumpled vanes.) [&:][]

He must shoot left handed. Had one blow up on me like that and immediately switched to A/C/C's. (Luckily it was cold and rainy so I had a glove on and a Gore-Tex jacket, no blood.) They're more expensive but it's worth the piece of mind to have that aluminum core tube holding it all together. Had a guy taking the shooting portion of his IBEP course do this to a smaller extent. He only got a few slivers in his bow hand but that's ugly! Makes me queezy just looking at those pics!

Iv had that happen before but they were newly used arrows i was using carbon express arrows. It only grazed my hand though thank god.[]

yea thats one thing that people need to understand about carbon arrows. the fact that they dont bend or show sings of fatigue is a major drawback. but carbon or aluminum its something every archers should be aware of.
