QAD Ultra Rest Help!!!
 

When the shop was setting up my new Ultra Rest today The guy kept getting a loud snap sound on my bow. After a hour and a half he had me leave it so another guy could look at it tonite. Does anybody have any tuning help with this rest.

Sounds like the rest is bouncing back up is my guess. Hitting the arrow

It could also be the vanes hitting the rest cord. Check to see if there are any wrinkles or marks on them, if there are put a nock point on the cord to get it to fall out of the path of your arrow.

yeah the vanes are wrinkled.

The guy at the pro shop said he thought it was string slap but I know it wasn't cause I didn't have any before this rest.

I know there was clearance with the vanes and the rest. The rest is very fast and drops fully out of the way.
