How Far?

What is the longest distance a animal has gone after you shot it? This would be on a recovered animal of course.Mine would be about 70 yrds,
all deer.

I had one got about 500 yds. Toughest trail I ever followed, but so proud to have pulled it off and found the deer. Twig deflected my shot. I had one other marginal hit(single lung)that went 200 yds, but was an easy to follow trail to the deer.

About 400 yards. It was a few years ago. I hit the deer a little far forward in the chest and he went that far. I jumped him once when bloodtrailing, but found him a few minutes later about 40 more yards away. Every other deer was withing 40 yards.
