Keep your old bow. I buy and sell bows all the time, your not going to get much for that bow. Keep in and make a display like I did for my dad's old bow.. It will give you great pleasure seeing it displayed on the wall. An old bow is like an old dog, you can just look at it and remember the good times you had together.

Parting with an old bow isn't easy. Up until last year I hunted with a Bear First Strike I bought new in 1990. I killed several deer with it every year and at least one buck each year with it. Killed my first bear with it three Falls ago. I loved it and it was comfortable. However I finally gave in last year and purchased a new one. I bought a Martin Tracer LT, a left-over 2004 model. I shot Hoyts, Matthews, PSE's, etc. and out of all of them the Martin was the least expensive and felt the best in my hand, so I bought it. You don't need a bow that costs $600-$800 to hunt with.Theanimals you are hunting don't know if the bow cost that much versus $250 for a new Bear. While all bows are not created equal, if you are comfortable with one and can put an arrow straight into the boiler of whatever you are hunting with it, it doesn't matter who makes it.
