Took a 100# doe this morning. It was cold (for Texas at least) and drizzling rain. the deer were out in droves. Probably saw 30 deer today. I took ths first one that presented a decent shot since I didn't know how long the weather would hold out. Hunt was over in about 20 minutes after settling into the stand. After losing an 8 point earlier in the season and missing 2 does, I was beginning to question my abilities.
