RE: What is your new bow setup (nocks and peep)

Firstly I would get the peep moved to where you are comfortable with it not where he says is standard.
I agree. I recently had a Trupeep put on and the shop owner says I wanted it higher than standard. I didn't care because it was comfortable to me and any lower and I would have felt the fletching against my face. So far I am shooting better and more consistently than I have in years.

Go to a string loop and do away with the brass nocks. I relented and am using my first loop..........much more consistent release and no worrying about nock pinch.

RE: What is your new bow setup (nocks and peep)

Well I spent about 3 hours shooting and adjusting last night and alot of things are different. Basically I took everything off except the knock points and the peep and put them back on. I don't know if I am shooting good or not now, because I was worn out after all that shooting.Originally I thought my peep was in the wrong position. I started to look at it and realized I used to shoot cock feather down. Now I am trying a new rest with cock feather up. I used to put the 10 oclock feather in the corner of my mouth. With cock feather up, I have that feather at about 7 oclock. I was streatching and trying to put this in my mouth. Once I realized that, it seemed that the peep may be right. I will try the closed eye draw tonight.

Now about the knock points. Why is knock pinch bad? I thought it would ensure the arrow stays put on the string. I know 9 out of 10 of you are saying to use a string loop. I really don't like them and I am trying to stay away. I will probably go to the rubber bumper. My shop was closed yesterday, I will probably hit them tonight.
