I was 11 when my dad died. He fought cancer back in 81 and lost. He died at home in as much peace as he could be. I kissed him goodnight took a few steps and he was gone. I am also married for 14 years now to a women I live for. Your story blends mine together and scares the beejezzus out of me.
Your not alone, we share your pain as much as we can. Stay strong and remember the good times.

It was lung cancer. If I understood correctly, it was the same cancer that took Dana Reeve (Christopher Reeve's wife). She was diagnosed 10 months ago. It was an uphill battle the whole way, but she fought hard!!! She made it quite a bit longer than most people with the same diagnosis do. Hope this helps.
