Longest Yardage
 

What is the longest yardage that you guys feel comfotable shooting at a deer? Excepting that there is no obsticales in the way.

I would say 35 maybe 40 yards, that is where I would feel comfortable. I prefer not to shoot more then 35, dont really want to actually! [8D]

35 for me. I routinely practice at 50 and 60 yards, but this is just practice and fun. I wouldn't shoot a deer that far, although I am confident I could hit it squarely if I did.

I get pretty squirrelly practicingat 40. . .

Probably wouldn't get much better in the stand. . .

40-45 anything after that is a poke and a hope.
