Good job Matt, yes ground hunting is a blast, odd little rack that old boy has.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

Congrats on the buck. Here I thought you were gonna say you were in your Goliath when you got him. Oh, well.

I agree on ground hunting... I took an 8 on the ground last year, 30 yards quartering away, dressed 184 so I'm hip on the drag. Did you check his teeth? I'm curious how old he is, too. Nicely done.

Congrats!

As far as pictures; I carry a small pack tripod that folds up to about 12" long and weighs a few ounces. Also got a smaller one that's only a few inches high that stays in the camera case. They cost about $20.00 each. With an auto-timer and a tripod you can take great photos by yourself, and know that they are composed exactly how you want them.

Awesome, Matt! I know you're proud of him, and like his rack -- but as old as he sounds, it's almost like you got cheated out of a super rack, ya know?

Do we always have to have such similarities every year? I take one from the ground, you take one from the ground... You put a Pathfinder tip on the Rockets, I put a Pathfinder tip on...

Nice job again. I'm thinking about getting out a bit this afternoon; it was raining cats and dogs this morning.
