Saw a Doe + Dropped My Can = "Can Bag"

I am very much enjoying the results of my lil' can bleat. I still only have one deer as of this season, but I'm seeing much more activity and I believe it is due to "the can". There is only one problem: I have to continually reach in/out of my pocket to get it and it causes a lot of movement. Last evening the "can" did a great job of bringing in a very large Doe and then did an even beter job of scaring her off....I dropped it on the floor of my stand as I reached for my bow!

Someone needs to come up with a little product called the "can bag". It should have openings on either end like a small sleeve so as not to affect the sound, and elasticc to hold the can in place, and a lanyard to hang it around you neck.....Hey wait a minute, that's my idea. anyone have the ph # to the patent office?!?

I don't have one of those cans....yet!! But I would think that you could attach a string loop to it with some duct tape and hang it around your neck. You're right, they really need to make those things on a lanyard, too small to be fumbling around with, especvially with gloves on.

I have heard alot of good stuff about those cans. My buddy shot his first buck with a bow after calling him in with the can. But I agree they need to make them more convenient to use.

I've used the cans to get two bucks within 50 yards but not close enough to shoot. I leave it in my shirt pocket and when I want to use it, instead of pulling it out of my pocket, I just stand on my head in the stand , that way I don't have to worry about dropping it. I don't know why I can't get the bucks to come closer than 50 yards.
