I used to call on the Illinois Dept. of Transportation during my daily route in outside sales; I once saw a picture posted on one of their bulletin boards a few years ago of an opossum that was lying dead in the middle of a road with fresh yellow stripes leading up to -- and over -- and continuing on past him.
