Default My son did a nice job

My son(first year bow hunting)Shot a nice doe last night,He had been wanting to shoot a spike he has seen on occassion.I had told him if he wanted to take a doe,He stiil had his tag's for buck's and they would still be around,My son has been practicing every chance he get's with his bow.
Well last night it paid off,We were in a ground blind(Standing in the young balsalm's)And they deer were going thru,This nice doe was headed our way,I wispered to Andrew that if he want's the shot just to follow thru on everything he had practiced.
The doe was on her way,Andrew drew back,She stepped out and paused,That's when the arrow was released,Beautiful shot placement.
My son has taken his first deer,What a great job,
Yes you could say I'm a very Proud Dad

Congrats to both of you I think sometimes it is a better feeling to watch our offspring take game then to take it ourselves....

Take a child hunting, for they are not only our future but also the future of hunting. Roy .
