if you go to walmart and buy the biggest rubber snake you can find or a blow up one from the garden center it will keep them away. i had the same problem and this did the trick.

biggest trhing is to remember it's there, that way you don't crap all over yourself when you see it in the dark getting in your stand. ;) lol.
