Anyone use this sight?

Well, I really like my Cobra Easy Slide Extreme but we ordered me a Vital Bow Gear StarTrack. I've heard good things about the company in general, but have any of you had any specific experience with this sight?

I own a VB site, but not the star trek. My buddy own's the star trek, and he loves it. I'm not a big fan of moveable sites, but he really loves his and is pretty open about sharing how he feels about it. Best of luck to you hopefully all works out well.

I have to check that sight out too... Right now I like the Trophy Ridge Mantis V-drive sight. But haven't ordered it yet.

What is all the fiber optic for if it only has one pin. Are those reference points for when the sight is being moved?

i had one, and my neighbor has one. i really liked mine. one thing about the yardage markers. do not overtighten them. they just need a very little snug. no worries if you do, vbg will take good care of you. also, the windage and vertical don't need to be wrenched too much either due to the plastic washers they use. those things really hold everything in place great. you'll surely enjoy it.

I have the proslide, it is the basically the same sight. I love it, it is very bright. The one knock I have for it is that the neon fiber is exposed on the post in the scope. Mine got knocked off by brush and got kinked, so it wasn't as bright. But VBG custumer service is A1 top shelf. I sent it in and they fixed it for free. I also bought a back-up scope in case it happens again. But I am going to put a piece of clear tape on it so it can't get knocked off again.

I would think there would be a way to run the fiber through a piece of clear plastic so it wasn't exposed.

Yep the fiber optics pins on the sight mount is foryardage reference, and the sight is made of aluminium--no plastic here.
However it doesn't (to me) seems to be a beefy sight (it looks quite frail)and for the money (over $100) I would much rather dropmy money on a Spot Hogg.

Let me know how the sliding pin sight works. I am curious about them and wonder how you set the distance while up in a treestand.

After reading posts about Trophy Ridge having issues with sight pins and whatnot, I looked at this locking pendulum sight. VitalBow Gear CamelbackPendulum.

I have to go find it in a bowshop to really, really, check it out first hand:
