Outfitter

We're starting up an Outfitter on 35,000 acres in Montana. The terrain in forest, seven miles of river and some fair sized clearings. We also have permission to use nearby land. We have fully furnished cabins, a cook shack with lots of conversation and mingling with the ranch folks and guides that have lived on and worked on the ranch for years. If you were to go through an outfitter, what would you look for?

Honesty above all else.

If I ain't huntin',I'm trappin',If I ain't trappin',I'm fishin'
If I ain't fishin',I'm wishin'!

Normally , the first thing I look at is references and I'll contact the references to see if they feel the advertised success percentage is accurate and how they were treated , etc.
Starting out fresh can be tough , but you need to build some good references. I wouldn't start out with a low low price either because most hunters understand they get what they pay for and normally avoid the cheap outfitters. What type of game management have you been practicing and for how long?
