bow hunting turkeys
 

There seems to be more & more people talking about it, you see a few more on video. I have been evolving thru the sport since 1995, I killed one with a shotgun and it was like fishing' in a barrel!
OnceI got a double bull it was all over,they are the "cat's @ss"!
Find a good mid-morning/afternoon strut zone or dust sites and be patient.
Anyway, I have beenhunting for 10 years & last year wasthe first year I saw another bow hunter.
Is there anybody out there....

Bagged my first one last year with the bow. 8 1/2" beard, 3/4" and 7/8" spurs. Should have had a few more but missed. Had a blast. Can't wait til season opens in a few weeks. I did my own fan mount.

Thats all I hunt with, Just don't have use for a gun of any kind.

if i get a bird with my shotgun i may try with a bow but we'll see. i know i'll try it eventually but i still want my first with a shotgun.

Havnt picked up a gun for turkeys in years, all I hunt with is a bow anymore.

Agree with Mike.... April 1 starts Turkey hunting in Texas... I can't wait.. I am driving everyone crazy practicing my calls... :D:DThe only thing I hunt with a gun is an intruder...

Bow huntin turkeys isnt life or death to me......"Its more important than that"!lol
I love the sport and theres a neat little item that everyone that hunts from a blind can use......its a Bow Bi-pod!

Field tested prototype last year and it works verywell!

nothing better than an arrow thru feather pillow still bring the gun on the grand slam hunts but use the bow for the first few days.
