possibly laid up for awile.....
I go the 8th of Nov. to get my bum knee checked out -n- find out if i gotta get surgery done on it.I've been putten this off since 1991 and ain't really looken forward to it just tired of it "blowen out" -n- stuff....guess now is better than later.
Guess I could camo up the crutches if I do get cut on and have a bud drag out any deer I bag..... Amosgreg sorry I ain't called ya but i lost ya # when my pc crashed....email me at [email protected] and i wont lose it this time. If god didn't want us to eat animals....Why did he make them outa meat? |

Good luck with the knee. I saw Bill Jordan with camo crutches on his show two weeks ago. He was hunting with his son.

Man that is a bummer, hope you mend up quick, and hey a little camo tape like they sell for guns should fix those crutches right up!

Sounds like you tore the cartilage and have scar tissue.
I had the same problem and underwent arthroscopic surgery (3 holes about the diameter of your small finger). Five days later I was deer hunting and humping ridges. Never a crutch nor cane. A little sore, somewhat restricted in movement and squatting, but made it through the season. Of course, healing differs from surgery to surgery and person to person. I do not have any -zero, zip, of the limitations or problems that are common after such surgery. I contribute my post-surgery condition to walking the boonies and humping the hills. Hope you do well regardless you might not hunt this season. |
