3 spots for Whitetail home state, 1 hour, 1/2 hr & 15 min..
Whitetail, other states -have driven up to 17 hours one way.
Hogs 14 hours Javalina 24 hours one way.
Anything else14-24 hours.
Headed for hogs in May-14 hours one way.
Been doing it 50 years now & still haven't wised up.....

If I hunt at home anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
If I stay in state, up to two days (it's a BIG state!)
If I want to hunt whitetails I spend a day and a half flying to NY.

Takes me 2 hours going (3:00AM-5:00AM). At least 3-3.5 hours coming home (Manhattan traffic).

I will drive up to 4 hours away. Of course I may only do that once a year. Most of the time I am driving 45 minutes on the short hunts to an hour and a half on the longer hunts. I do this all in one day. My buddy has a cabin two and a half hours away and we can stay overnight there.

Used to be a 4 hour drive to Buffalo County from Northern WI. Since my rights have run out on the farm I used to hunt, I now travel 800 miles to Northeastern Kansas every November for 10 days. Washington County.

I walk a good part of the time, drive, 15 mins. I have alot of very generous neighbors.

It used to be 32 miles from my back door to my stand; took 50 minutes to get there through some curvy, hilly roads. I've recently moved about 15 miles further away, so I'll have to see what the new distance and time is during pre-season.

30 seconds. I fortunately have the luxury of bowhunting, varminting, and hunting on my property, and of my family's property down the road.

12 minutes from my garage to my property. And I am thankful every day I drive it to be there. My brother and friends come down here to hunt with me and it takes from 1.5-2 hours for each of them. I am always grateful to be able to drive a short distance and be in my tree within half an hour and enjoy some of the best hunting in Michigan!

3.5 hours to my property in PA. 1.5 hours to the property I hunt in NY, and 1.5 hours to the property I hunt in Vermont.

Area 5, 100 miles
Area 6, 250-300 miles

All of these are in my home state.

No drive at all.I only hunt my own 98 acres of timber,which I consider my back yard.

20 minutes for private ground, 10 minutes for state land, 40 minutes if I hunt on family's land in Indiana. Drove 17-18 hours straight for elk hunt last year[:-].

I got to go only 10 miles to out hunting spot. And it's got a lot of deer .
