Enough K.E. for elk?

My bow is 61lbs with a 340gr. arrow at 287fps I get 61#of K.E. is this enough for elk out to 45 yards?

Alot depends on where you go, some states have restrictions on arrow weights. In Idaho, you'd be illegal, need a 400 gr arrow.

Other than that, hit em where you need to and I'd imagine you are all set.
