Thats either a gross score or a non-typical score, but great deer nonetheless!

This deer grossed 221, netted 199 and 2/8ths. These measurements came directly from the taxidermist. He is a member on an Indiana hunting board i belong to. I also got to see the finished mount a few weeks ago at the Indiana deer and turkey expo.

There was an even better buck killed in Morgantown Indiana with a shotgun, some believe it would come very close to setting a world record. Some of you may have seen the pics and heard all the rumors. As of now we have no score becuase the family traded the rack for an ATV and a pickup truck.

very non-typical in scoring but the "impressive" factor is way, WAY up there !! Gorgoeus buck

For clarification, I looked at the thread in the deer hunting forum and that is a "different" Indiana deer; two different deer, different places.
The deer in this thread was a bow kill. The deer in the other thread was a gun kill.
We've got some nice deer in Indiana, but don't tell anyone.

I wish I had a pic of a rack that the taxidermist had when I took my deer in.
It was only an 8 point, but had a 24 inch spread. It's bases were as big as the big end of a baseball bat and carried that mass to the end of each tine. It almost looked moose-like.
