Can't answer that for you. But if you have a longer DL, I would go with the XL. Shoot them both and decide.

TRYKON XL. What is 2" more ATA? Treestand hunting? What kind of treestands do you guys put up. Can't you move the stand down 1". I find this reasoning.... I will shut up now.

ORIGINAL: bullshooter

I don't know what all the hype about the new hoyt is...
I shot the new trycon and it was like holding a 2x6, and that bugger was kind of twangie...
Thats because you shot a Trycon, not a Trykon....Those after market things can really misdirect people.......:D

Why did the poll end so soon? I never got to vote! I'd go for the Trykon......Thats what I did anyways, still waiting for it to arrive. I chose it because 80% of the time I hunt spot an stalk style and small bows are just cool ;)

I shot both bows...I tend to like longer brace height on a bow...both are great bows and you can't go wrong. Theoretically speaking, the longer bow should be more stable when shooting (3d etc) but, I am not good enough to recognize the difference if I am the one behind the bow......good luck

Thanks for all the great replys. Sorry to disappoint everyone but, after going out to shoot both bows on Saturday, I ended up joining the dark side and bought the 06' Allegiance.
