maybe its legs stiffened up and stayed up
I'd think that would be possible for it's LEGS to stiffen up/lock, but for the deer to stay standing the whole body would have to 'freeze'.

this is the first time i've ever heard of something remotely like this, and to happen to none other than ted nugent, the motor city madman??

I'm putting this one in the 'I have to see it to believe it' file.

That sounds impossible. Unless it "locked" in place[&:].

i have to agree that there's something wrong with that story...and he may be a freak but he's also very anti-drug so i don't think he was smokin' anything.

(not starting anything...just voicing my opinion)

ORIGINAL: superstrutter

...Why didn't he just shoot the deer again instead of letting it stand there suffering for 12 hours?
strutters got a point. Doesnt an ethical hunter make a kill as quick as possible. I dont mean to disrespect ted but I would have felt sorry for the deer enough to put another arrow in him, I just think its a little cold hearted myself.
