Full moon, no moon, half moon, I always see DEER. Not to be rude but deer is also the plural for a bunch of deer. No S on the end!!

Full moon or not- I saw exactly 0 deer this season. Still can't afford a TX lease- maybe I'll get lucky on the public land next year...

i saw this hunting show and they said this one guy studied for 12 years how the moon affected deer, they said the reason no bucks came into the feild was because of the full moon and that was there excuse for not getting anything, and they said the full moon means they go into rut and dont sleep and lose 20 percent of there body weight ignoring the way they usally act

Although there are exceptions, when the moon is full, deer can feed all night and sleep in the day. So I usually don't see as many deer during themorning hoursaround thefull moon. However, I have still seen a fair amount of deer at dusk. That said, I hunt the same whether there is a full moon or not. I just have not been able to figure outconsistently when they will be around. But just because I don't usually see as many deer doesn't mean it ain't worth being out there. Sometimes I can sit out there for days and see nothingday afterday, and then three racks will walk by in fiifteen minutes, full moon or not.I just can't tell what fifteen minutes it will be. That's hunting.
