Good show tonight.

-Got in my stand around 4:20.
-A squirrel started dropping acorns out of an oak around 5:15.
-Ill be darned if a little button buck didnt come by 2 minutes later and start eating all the squirrels acorns. The squirrel kept dropping them, and the deer would walk over and eat the acorn. This goes on for 15 minutes, and finally the squirrel wises up, and starts barking at him. The deer beds down, then the squirrel drops a few more nuts on the ground. The little buck gets out of his bed and eats them too! This went on for 45 minutes. I nearly fell out of my tree trying to hold in the laughter. Luckily, The squirrel just gave up and the buck moved on.

With the way the squirrels play games with me you think he'd tie a string to an acorn to get his kicks? I was trying to shoot a squirrel today, but it was on the side of the tree and I wanted to shoot into the tree. I would walk around the tree to try to get a better shot, the squirrel would climb about five or ten feet higher then wave its tail and bark at me! Later on a humongous fox squirrel snuck up to about three feet from me, then when I looked at it he took about the straightest path to me not getting a shot. Those little bugers are smart.

God bless,
Brandan
