How fast does your bow shoot?
My Reflex Superslam is at 244 fps, according to TechnoHunt (Dont you have to add 15 to this or something to get true FPS?) |

ORIGINAL: Oneshot7 wow i have the first bow to shoot over 300 fps second btw i got this off of the web so it may not be entirely correct but it said 310 fps is that IBO speed or actual speed? What kind of bow is it? |
RE: How fast................
Mathews Outback @ 65 lbs. 264 ft/sec
|
RE: How fast................
IBO does that make a difference and it is a martin phantom magnum
|
RE: How fast................
yes it does make a difference. It means your bow is not actually shooting that fast.sorry[&:]
|
RE: How fast................
oh how do you tell how fas tit shoots then from the IBO speed
|
RE: How fast................
Best way is to shoot it through a chronograph.
|
RE: How fast................
h how do you tell how fas tit shoots then from the IBO speed I used to know how much to add or subtract for all that stuff to get an approximate speed, but I must be coming down with old timer's disease. Can't remember any of it now.[&:] Even after all that, then you have to wonder if they were completely truthfull when they listed the IBO speed. Some manufacturers aren't. The only real way to know how fast your bow is shooting is to put an arrow across a chronograph. |
RE: How fast................
