Have seen a couple of bruisers around here, but never when hunting. I haven't had a lot of time as my wife and I are due to have a baby any day, but my buddy shot a nice 8 opening day. And I had a poor shot on an 8 2 days later.
They're starting to turn on in some places though... I've seen scrapes and rubs nearly double in the past week and my brother saw big antlers chasing some does, nose to the ground, swollen neck and the whole bit. How bout you?

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING TAG WITH MR. BIG BOY FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS. WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS HERE IN MT. PLEASANT.

No luck myself yet this year, but according to an email I received last week a monster was taken out of the Bay City area. 23 points, I think it was around a 19 1/2 inch spread, with a ton of mass. Theyre saying it may be a non typical state record.
