Trail Camera?

Is the Moultrie® Game Spy 100 1.3 Megapixel Game Digital Scouting Camera a good camera to buy? I found a place where i can get it for $100. Is that a good price? Doe it take good pictures?
Thanks

RE: Trail Camera?

Myself, I have not used the Moultrie 100--however presently I'm testing the Moultrie 200--almost the same trail camera, except the 100 comes with a black case as against a camo case for the 200--- and the 100 is a 1.3 MP while the 200 is a 3.0 MP.
I've recently seen a picture or two, on this forumtaken by the Moultrie 100 and they were pretty good pictures.
The Moultrieis a bit slow on trigger speed--but the intensity of the flash is much better compared to higher end trail cameras.
For $100 you really can't go wrong.
I'll copy a link to a recent thread with discussions on the Moultrie 100 & 200.http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.a...0&#1326921

You might also want to check out the Wildview Digital 2.0. I got mine for $100 from Cabelas and it has taken some nice, clear pictures. Here is one of my favorites.
