Bow for a younger man.

What would be a high quality bow for a young kid that is on the cheaper side, but shoots very well? New or Used.

Thanks a lot!

Reflex is a quality bow for a very reasonable price...

That depends on the age/size of the intended recipient. APA makes the Suphan which isa great bow for archers with shorter draw lengths, such as 24-28 inches. And this bow will shoot too, in fact at 28 inch 70 pounds, a 350 grain will do 310 fps.

My first bow was a Martin M-1 Tiger, I killed many deer and a cow elk with it. I just saw one on Ebay Ca. for 11 dollars including shipping!!!! Not bad for a beginner..

I would take a good, hard look at either the Micro Adrenaline or Micro Midas III from Browning. Both have 10 full inches of draw length adjustment, 18-28 inches, and come in either 30 or 40 pound models. The Adrenaline comes in a 40 or 50 pound model. I bought my son a Midas III and I'll tell ya.....that dog hunts!! Really good bow. Complete set up....$239. Not the best equipment you understand, but good. Bare bow is like.......shoot....I don't remember...but look at em. They are great!

try a diamond bow. i tried all the reasonably priced brands " Martin,Parker,PSE,fred bear. the diamond blew me away compared to the others but the PSEs where my second favorites and they also offer some cheaper bows like less then $250 but if your really not sure or not die hard about shooting a bow get something cheap used to try out first.
