this deer clearly is huge . 400+ lbs? i dont know. it also is clearly gut shot one photo shows a wound on the deers abdomin complete with blood. now i think that no hunter would brag on a gut shot so i dont blame him for lying about the shot. i too have held for what seemes like 10 minutes when in reality it was like 1 minute maybe 1 1/2. but i said i held for ever.dont most of us dream of killing that one deer or winning that national tourney that throws us head first into sponcers and maybe our own show. i do. i dont blame him for throwing out a few names. i do blame him for making the story so rediculous i mean 10 minutes. i know mathews are sweet bows but 10 minutes. a single lung shot deer will go a long way . but the photo shows blood high on the stomach . he could have cleaned it off or heck photoshoped it out.. i dont think he origionaly had big plans i think he just got caught up in the moment when the reporters started looking for him.
