Well, if you can afford a Switchback then you should be able to afford a higher end Bowtech than a Tomkat. Those two bows are not apples to apples. The Tribute or Allegiance or even the Old Glory would be more on par with the Switchback.

Same thought as Mike from Texas. Although the '06 Tomcat has binary cams, its not really a fair comparison.

Neither till I saw them or shot them, maybe after here..... but have to do a lot to impress me and take me away from my Mathews Ultra Max, just too exspensive like cars, to trade something that still works! Just my opinion of course! [8D]

Like said above, the Tomkat and Switchback are not apples to apples...see above threads for the Switchback, Allegiance, Tribute and Tyrkon.

Buy the Tomkat and use the extra coin to buy new goodies for it. It is a great bow for the money.
