Bowmaster Portable Press

Anybody use one? Is it safe to use on the Bowtechs with the parallel limbs? I'm thinking of picking one up for the bow case/back pack for the uh-ohs that may come up at the deer lease.

Yes they are safe for parallel limbs. Use one on my Patriot. Neat little tool. Use it for tuning purposes, installing peeps. It is nice not to have to run to the shop for the little things I can do myself. A great buy for the money. Brian

Is it safe enough and/or adjustable enough without being in the way to change cables and string?

Mike, I've used the Bowmaster and itworks quite well. Just be careful when slipping the cable ends thru the slots in thelimb tips, use the protector pads so when your start totighten the press, the cables don't rub against the camo, it prevents any nicks.
Also use a 5/8" hex socket and ratchet with a 3/8" drive, will be alot easier to operate. A good tool to keep in your travel kit.

I've changed strings while using one, no issues.

I have had no problems with mine. Never used it on a parallel limb bow
before. I think it would work fine.

I agree with everyone else. It's an awesome tool to have especially for fine tuning your bow. Changing strings isn't an issue either but like stated before just make sure your using the leather pads, nothing is rubbing on the cables and take your time when cranking it down. You'll be changing and adjusting things to try new stuff on your bow when you have one of these especially in the "off Season"!
