Greg,

I drive a truck even with the tonneau cover things seems to get wet underneath there at times. I can't have my babies getting wet! :D

newman, OK -- don't be like the guy on the "BowTech sucks" thread ;)Why do you feel that way? What makes it so much worse than, say, the SKB?

Greg, I've got the single Pro 44 and it seems to be a very good case. You can get the singles for about $50. Not sure what the doubles go for. Here's a pic and link.

RE: What's your favorite bow case?

I use soft cases. I like them much better than hard cases. I do have a hard case and will only use it if I fly. However I will still pack my soft case to be used when I reach my destination. For me, hard cases are too big and bulky. I always put my bow in the cab so water or banging around is not an issue for me.

Buckeye,

If you have to put the bow in theback of your truck, you can try to set it on something to keep it off of the bed. I think if it were on the bed and you got water in it, the case would be soaked. I don't put too much credence in "waterproofing" claims unless it says"Gore-Tex" or something similar on it.

That being said I would still opt for the soft case. I like the kind that have the long pocket to fit an arrow box as well as interior pockets for your misc. gear ie: release, tags, gloves, mask, tackle box,etc...

The reason i say that is because i bought the case thinking that my bow would be a tighter fit than it was.It was just to sloppy for me,also it does not afford the protection i was really looking for.It was really an impulse buy because the day i picked up my Allegiance these cases came in and i said what the heck. Also i would never say Bowtech sucks;):D

ORIGINAL: Bols

I know some parallel limb bows won't fit inside the hard shell SKB's, you think I would have a better chance of fitting my Trykon into a soft SKB dual bow case, or even the Primos soft side dual bow case?

Just something else to think about if you have one of those new, fancy, talk of thetownparallel limb bows. ;)

I use the SKB soft case for my Trykonand love it. So much room in it for everything. There is that much roomI keep my treestand and deer cart in it!;)

I still like the SKB soft case from Cabelas. Plus the camo patetrn will match your bow Greg.

I am almost certain if an SKB case description says its waterproof, then most likely it is. My much cheaper Kolpin Evolution soft bow case rode in the back of a truck from Colorado, in pouring down rainstorms most of the way back to Illinois..................it was completely dry inside.
