Slick Trick Broadheads

To all you guys who shoot Slick Tricks - How do you like them? How do they fly? How are the blood trails? I'd like to see some pics....

The S/T's flew just like my Thunderheads and fieldpoints out to 30 yards. Thirty yards is my self imposed max so I know they were good to there. I had complete pass throughs on 3 deer with the same head....with absolutely zero damage to the head. Two shots were broadside double lung about 15 yards....blood trails were excellent...heard both deer crash. The other was a quatering away shot with a massive blood trail. The S/T's are a great head but they are not a miracle head and will not compensate for poor shot placement. IMO their strength is their blade retaining system and their overall toughness. My only complaint is they are not quite as sharp as Thunderheads. I will be using them again this year along with Thunderheads.

I just started using them back after Christmas and they do fly like
field tips. I have not gotten to use them on a deer yet.

First year using these things and I can honestly say that the blood trail was terrible...they dropped dead 30 yards from where I shot them...wasn't much of one.

I love these broadheads! Very accurate!

I went to a bowshop the other day (that I have total confidence in), and when I asked if they carried them, they had never heard of them. I wanted to buy some to test with, and see if they were worth switching over from my Muzzy 3 blades. How new are these things, and why are they so obscure???

Everything I have ever read on here about them is nothing but good reviews, so why aren't these things at all the better bowshops? (I say the better bow shops that because I consider this place to be an EXCELLENT bow shop!)

They came out in 2000 at the ATA show. Slick Tricks started what is now called the "super short" heads. The owner didn't have deep pockets and has been selling all he can afford to make from word of mouth from guys getting them from slicktrick.net. Shops carry them from Alaska to Africa. This year there will be more advertising and production is up so all the shops will be carrying them. Tell your dealer to call or email on the site.
