70 yards is pretty far! i would work a lot more at like 50 then when your groups improve move back to 60 then when your shooting good groups from there move back to 70, that should reduce the amount of misses you have.

personally i don't shoot past 60 yards (target)and i find that far, but i also think it makes me a much better shot at thecloser distances.so i was just kinda wondering why you shoot from 70, to improve groups or are you into 3d??

Just to improve. After a few groups of 60-70 I move up to 45 yards and am dead on target. Then I move back again and so fourth.

Take a wooden horse and drape an old piece of carpet over it. The 2 layers of carpet should be enough to stop the arrow from that distance.

Why are you shooting at 70 yards?? Not that theres anything wrong with that but Im just curious. Unless its for competition target practice that a pretty good distance if you are missing the target often.

Start at 30 yardsand keep going back at 10 yard increments as you zone in on the range you are trying to get to.

why, because its fun to shoot from far back. try 120 yards. the arrow looks like its straight out of some movie sailing up and back down into the target.

Greg / MO:
I'd like to find some large blocks like that also. Do you have any company names that we could get in touch with? Thanks!
