RE: bows
Shoot em all and find out which one fits you best. That's the best advice I can give. Second.......go with the Hoyt....;)

RE: bows
Yea I agree you've narrowed it down to 4 Companies, now just pic 4 bow's 1 from each of themin your price range, 1 from each company. This should help you boil her down to your new bow. Good luck with choosing.

RE: bows
I shot all those bows before settling on a Diamond Victory. It shoots just as well in my limited opinion, but for the price, you can't go wrong. (just my 2 cents)

RE: bows
I shot all of those manufacturers before buying a Hoyt. It's every bit as accurate as the other competitors' bows at 3D shoots and I believe it's quieter. I haven't shot the Trykon but I bet it compares favorably with the Switchback. Price WAS a consideration for me.
You gotta shoot them. BTW Bass Pro Shops will not let you shoot their stuff. I don't know if Cabela's will or not. It's just like scuba gear: You gotta support the local shops even if their prices are a little higher. |
RE: bows
Seasons over , you've got some time .Go check out a bunch of diferant bows . Some I would sugest for you to check are , Archery Research "velocity" , Bowtech "alligence" , and "old glory" , Browning "illusion" , Ross bows , API bows , Merlin bows , Martin bows in particular the "slayer" . There are so many to chose from , just dont make a hasty desision

Pearson makes absolutely great bows. Ask anybody who's ever owned one. You can shoot a Pride at Cabela's. Quiet. Fast. No hand shock. It is as good as anything out there but you can save $100 - $200 to spend on accessories. http://www.benpearson.com/2006bows.shtml |
