RE: what is the best bow for 2006
There are soooooo many good bows out there. No one bow is the "best" bow.
For me the 2006 BowTech Tribute is the "best bow" for me. I love this bow. The next poster on the board may love the Hoyt Trykon or the Mathews SwitchBack XT? That is why there are so may bows out there to pick from. I would recommend shooting the BowTech Tribute & Allegience, Mathews SwitchBack & SwitchBack XT, Hoyt Trykon & Trykon XL. All of these bows seem to be the "hot bows"for 2006. Good luck, Wolf Killer |

tell me more about what you want. do you want a relativly inexpensive bow? then try a reflex or a diamond both brands are very good bows and less expensive also pse has some that are down right dirt cheap. Do you want speed well then try a bowtech oe a hoyt or a mathewsalso jennings and pearson have some good ones so my friend what are you lookin for and maybe i can give you better advice also how much are you wanting to spend . cause a mathews or a bowtech and some of the others will cost you over 700 for some models.

Here is a list of how you know you found the best bow:
The best bow keeps you thinking about it night after night when your trying to sleep. The best bow has you thinking about it, when your wife is talking about something important. The best bow has you out at dark shooting arrows when you should be inside the house spending time with you family. The best bow has you selling all your other unused toys in a garage sale just to get a portion of the cost covered. The best bow has you looking at your credit card and wondering how you can charge it without the wife finding out. The best bow has got you calling the local bow shop and asking them so many questions that they end up hating the sound of your voice. The best bow has got you visting web sights like these to research every accesories for it, when you really should be working. Ya work... that job that keeps the house over your head for you and your family. Thebest bow has you making a fool out of yourself because you can't stop your mouth from telling every person in the world how awesome it is to shoot. Ya, yathe list can go on and on.....I found my best bow, have fun looking for yours. P.S. I take no responsibility for all the ways I talk good about my new bow. The bow made me do it. I can't help it. :D |

This may seem like a simpleazation of the question but the best bow for 2006 is the one that fits you the best. No matter who makes it. The best bow is the one that has a handle that feels good in your hand, draws easily for you, comes to site picture easily. How to find it? Go to several bow shops and pick up a hoyt see if it feels heavy, maybe it does. Pick up a pse how does it feel? See if the shop will let you draw and shoot them. I may like a champion or bowtec ormaybe a martin. I can only tell you what I like. Do it like your looking for the perfect hunting truck go out and look at several. My best hunting truck was an 85 toyota. Went everywhere, even into the woods to pick up downed deer. Did darn little dragging with that truck.
But this is jmo. |

RE: what is the best bow for 2006
your best bet is to find a pro shop that carries alot of bow brands. you might miss out on some thing sticking to what everyone else shoots. this year there are alot of sweet bows out. Brownings illusionand Pse's Diablo and Mach Xare one of the hotest bows out. hoyt w/ the trykon, mathews switch back, martin w/ the slayr x. the list goes on and on. dont get sucked into the hipe and spend a ton of money on a bow your not sure on. figure what you can affored. remember if you buy a bow bare your gonna spend a couple of hundred dollars or more on accessories. like rest, sight, release, arrows, quiver, stabilizer. good luck !!!!
