I took a nice doe late yesterday. She followed two others out just at last light. I had a quartering shot from my tree stand at about 25 yds. I put the pin on her and let fly. She attempted to duck the string, but when she did, the muzzy caught her right in the neck. A clean pass-through and a short run. In 45 seconds, it was over. She dressed out at 110 lbs. Not huge, but a nice doe for my area.

Congrats on the backstraps. They'll sure taste better than out of a gamey 5 yr old buck...lol

My dad took a nice doe on Friday evening. I'll be out tomorrow, hopefully I can pull something off.

There's nothing I love more than beards and bucks!

Way to go Masshunter. I'm hunting SE MA and have only been out once since the opener but saw nothing. What part of MA are you hunting ?
