Isn't this the bull that was shot on a fenced ranch? If so, it is not a P&Y record since fenced disqualifies it. It may score higher than the current P&Y record, but that doesn't make it a P&Y record.

Bob, the bull you are referring to was taken in southern Idaho on a fenced ranch, not Arizona. That bull also scored over 500 and is not eligable for the record books. This is a different elk.

Now why are you giving Chuck a hard time? Patterson had a guide. From what I heard, the one time I met Chuck, he prefers to hunt alone. He even takes his own pictures. I don't know if he had a guide or not but it doesn't diminish the feat either way.

I apologize for the mix-up, this one seems legit. As for Chuck being pissed: I doubt it, won't effect him in the slightest bit, right after he put the current record in the books, I bet he started looking for a bigger one!
