How does it affect deer?
Are they still moving/do you still see deer?

RE: HUNTING IN THE RAIN???
Be in the woods just before a long prolonged rain ends. I have had great success by going in just before it is slated to stop or during a light rain and/or drizzle. Just last Fri. after two days of hard rain which stopped mid afternoon I took a buck weighing 149 lbs sported an 8 pt rack with an 18" inside and the next morning I took a doe weighing in at 121 lbs. The day before (Thur) while poaring down rain I saw nothing. This senerio has repeated itself many time over the years.

What Rick said is excellent advice. You can also score sometimes during rain. This morning, while making coffee, I watched 4 deer cavorting about in my backyard during a downpour! Last night, I saw them while I was hunting, and they didn't seem to be as relaxed!

They've gotta eat.
I think that the rain might help with scent controll as well.
