Shooting from high stand
 

Behind my house is a stand that a previous owner built and I came across it the other day. I love the stand and it is built nice, the problem I have is its how high it is. I would say it is about 28-30 feet in the air. I was there for two hours and saw 4 deer. I shot at a doe twice and missed both times.
The main problem I had was telling the difference from the ground and the deer. Tall trees does not let in much light.
I have good eye sight but still missed.

Any advice?
